General & Laparoscopy Surgery
At the General & Laparoscopic Surgical Center of Suguna Hospital our surgeons and staff are dedicated to providing the highest quality surgical care using the latest techniques and technologies in both traditional and minimally invasive surgery.
Our highly trained surgical associates specialize in the safe and effective use of laparoscopic techniques, which can be applied to a variety of procedures, such as bariatric surgery, incisional hernia repair, and solid organ surgery.
During laparoscopic surgery, small incisions are made and a laparoscope with a tiny camera is inserted to provide a clear view of the surgical site on a monitor. This approach offers many benefits, including less post-operative discomfort, faster recovery times, smaller scars, and a reduced risk of complications.
At our center, we believe in providing the same level of compassionate care and empathy to all our patients. Our commitment to this principle is reflected in the care we provide to each patient.
Through one of the incisions, the surgeon then inserts a laparoscope. This is a tiny camera that projects the images it records onto a large monitor, allowing the surgeon to see inside of the body without having to make a long incision.
The advantages of laparoscopy surgery are numerous and include the following:
Less Post-Operative Discomfort.
Faster Recovery.
Smaller, more discrete Scars.
Reduced Risk of Complications.
